I grew up in a town with many Jewish friends who lost relatives in the Holocaust. When I heard the plea "Never Again" I was somewhat mystified. "Of course something like that will never happen again," I thought. "People could never be that cruel again." Looks like I had a lot to learn.
Here's a way to make your voice heard about the genocide in Darfur. Send an electronic postcard to President Bush that says, "During your first year in the White House, you wrote in the margins of a report on the Rwandan genocide, 'Not on my watch.' I urge you to live up to those words by using the power of your office to support a stronger multi-national force to protect the civilians of Darfur."
